The Pioneer Village Historical Museum will be open with special hours during the North Dakota State Fair (July 21-29, 2017). We will be open from 11 a.m. - 7 p.m. Be sure to stop on by and see us!

The Pioneer Village Historical Museum of the Ward County Historical Society is located on the North Dakota State Fair Grounds, in Minot, North Dakota. In addition to the Pioneer Village, there is an Antique Vehicles Museum displaying antique cars, horse-drawn buggies and sleds.
The original Sundre Log Cabin is also on display as well as the original South Prairie Cook Car donated by Lorraine Smith of South Prairie. A Blacksmith shop, General store and the original (Imperial) Ward County Court House which has served many colorful and various functions over the years are on display.
We are happy to announce that through the help of volunteers, FEMA, and your financial contributions all of our buildings and items have been completely restored after the 2011 flood. The WCHS is looking forward to your visit the summer of 2017.
We are closed during the winter months, except for special events and tours by appointments. Call Sue at 701-839-0785.
